awards in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest for work with his
duo RainWeal. He has been a
northwest string and keyboard instructor since 1981 and has studied with such notables as
Ralph Towner,
Janice Giteck and
Thomasa Eckert. His other credentials include
Majors in jazz performance, classical guitar and classical composition from
Arizona State University and
Cornish College of the Arts.
