In Seattle, he joined the Seattle Folklore Society's
Mandolin Orchestra, directed by local mandolinist Tom Moran, where he first began playing classical
music. Andrew has pursued this passion for 20 years, first as principal second mandolin in the
Seattle Mandolin Orchestra, then as second mandolin
in the Seattle Mandolin Quintette, and ultimately, the Emerald City Mandolin Quartet.
